Graduations x 2
Mary Hope and Sam and all the Pomp and Circumstance
With May, the flurry of end of school activities arrived, and we had Hopi and Sam’s graduations within a week of each other. Once again, it was a disappointment that Brian wasn’t confirmed in time to go to the Pope’s installation Mass, but if he had he would have missed Hopi’s graduation, so it all worked out. Instead, we got to all fly to Dallas and enjoy celebrating for a few days on our old campus.
Two Burch grads and one soon to be in-law!
A few days later we were back in Chicago for Sam’s graduation.
It was such a gift having Sam and Ben both at Chesterton for a year. They both loved it and had wonderful friends and teachers.
Gotta love Chicago in May when you still need a coat because it’s so chilly at night.
We went out for dinner afterwards at Maggiano’s and ran into the McCormacks who had the same idea! Then Sam had a bunch of his friends back to our house to hang out and celebrate. They’re just the nicest group of kids and all so polite.
Finally, we finished up the school year with the other kids too. Another Art Fair/Grandparents’ Day to admire all their beautiful work from the year.
